About me

My name is Amy Richardson. I was originally trained in the Fine Arts and as an Art Teacher. I received a degree from the Univerisity of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in both disciplines. After school I spent 10 years as an Art Teacher before discovering the digital medium that is the web. I have since undergone a career transformation into the roles of Designer and Front End Developer. I have also worked in varied environments and technologies. To web design, I bring a keen eye for line, shape, color and form along with my knowledge of how a person learns to the sites I work on. This powerful combination helps keep the sites sticky and useful to users. My current role is Web Design and Production Manager for the Seattle Times. View my resume
